We had a fun time with our neighbours and families tie-dying clothes this summer. We hosted the event in our yard space rather than using a local park to simplify everything. Most people brought their own clothing items to tie dye but we were sure to have extra for anyone to use. Shirts, shorts, dresses, and even socks were our canvas. The event went smoothly and we were able to keep the dye relatively contained with minimal spillage. Next time we’d attempt to use natural dyes instead of relying on store-bought kits.
