Overview

Applications are accepted in two cycles in Richmond:

Spring: March 7 to April 18, 2024 – Projects to be completed by October 31, 2024

Fall: September 7 to October 21, 2024* – Projects to be completed by December 31, 2024

*As long as funds are still available

Note if you apply in Richmond, you must live in Richmond and your project must take place in Richmond.

Applications will be reviewed by the Richmond Neighbourhood Grants Committee and Community Coordinator (Jennifer) once applications close.  If you have any questions please contact Jennifer at jdewolff@rcrg.org

Program partner

Your neighbourhood partner

Local partner organizations manage all aspects of the Neighbourhood Small Grants program. Partner organizations are where your community coordinators work. They also oversee the advisory committee, which is unique to each community that reviews your grant applications.

Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives, formerly Volunteer Richmond, is a non-profit agency dedicated to enhancing the lives of Richmond residents by bringing people and services together through community information and volunteerism. The Richmond Community Foundation, which awards grants and scholarships to local organizations and students, is a collaborative partner of Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives.
