South Surrey, White Rock and Cloverdale

Overview

Applications are accepted in two cycles in South Surrey, White Rock and Cloverdale:

Spring: March 7 to April 18, 2024 – Projects to be completed by October 31, 2023

Fall: September 7 to October 21, 2024* – Projects to be completed by December 31, 2024

*As long as funds are still available

Applications will be reviewed by the South Surrey, White Rock, Cloverdale Neighbourhood Grants Committee and Community Coordinator (Susan) once applications close.

If you apply to South Surrey, White Rock or Cloverdale, you must live in one of the communities and your project must take place there as well. If you have any questions, please contact Susan at communityprograms@alexhouse.net.

Program partner

Your neighbourhood partner

Local partner organizations manage all aspects of the Neighbourhood Small Grants program. Partner organizations are where your community coordinators work. They also oversee the Neighbourhood Grants Committee, which is unique to each community that reviews your grant applications.

Alexandra Neighbourhood House

Alexandra Neighbourhood House is a place-based, not-for-profit agency with a goal of partnering with residents of South Surrey, Cloverdale and White Rock to strengthen the capacity of our communities. Together we imagine and create activities, events and programs which reduce social isolation (especially of marginalized and vulnerable populations) and encourage civic participation. Together, we build a spirit of community.
