On Aug 10th, 2024, we had our 2nd Annual Party (thanks to NSG). This year was a great success as it brought neighbours closer, and more families were there to benefit and visited for longer than expected. We had a timeframe of 2:00-4:00 for the BBQ, although it kept families and people visiting until 7:45pm!
This year I asked for extra money so I could provide more crafting for the children. We had Rainbow Loom, Beads galore, and basic crafting items. This had children occupied for hours and even had some adults crafting with their children, building friendship bracelets; memories that last! I was also able to buy some gross motor items; balls, pogo jumpers, hoops, rings, cones etc.
We had about 50 in attendance to come for Hot dogs, snacks, lots of sweets and some families brought food for a potluck.
