David Livingstone Elementary School is opening its doors to parents and community members as we celebrate our main hallway improvements, including a beautiful new mural. There will be refreshments, activities and a few guest speakers. Everyone is welcome.
This event will unveil a multicultural and first nations mural at David Livingstone Elementary School. In the fall of 2016 Livingstone Elementary school students worked with artists to paint a mural in the main hallway of the school. The mural project is intended to make the school more welcoming and representative of our diverse community. The artists facilitating the project are the same artists that worked with Tupper Secondary students to paint a large mural on the outside of the school. http://tinyurl.com/gqdydpd The mural at Livingstone will build on the connection between students of all ages in the community.
