Our Social Committee for our Cooperative housing association came together and decided that we would like to ensure our entire community comes together for an Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Refresh.
For this event we didn’t have to overcome any challenges. We collaborated on how ensuring that both the littlest members of our community could participate without being trampled on by the older kids in our community.
We ensured that the teens would be able to also participate by being held responsible for hiding the treats for the both sessions we had.
The landscaping committee wanted the social committee to participate with them by providing and contributing to primarily the lunch aspect.
Overall the turn out for the day was great and we are looking forward to ensuring that our community members all can feel included and thus a sense of belonging.
We can’t thank the Neighborhood Small Grants Committee enough for selecting us and helping us ensure this event was a success.
