Gone to Seed is a free roadside seed library in Comox, we have been open since March 2021 and our seed-sharing community has grown by leaps and bounds! The library has proven to be very popular and sees a lot of regular visitors who take seeds home to grow and leave seeds to share with others. We also run a Facebook group in partnership with the library to promote seed saving, growing, invasive awareness, and the importance of gardening for wildlife such as bees, bats, and butterflies.
Thank you to NSG for helping out our little free seed library, with our grant request money we were able to purchase envelopes, glue sticks, and markers to help with the packaging and sharing of seeds.
