On August 9th, ten people participated in my “Guitar Lessons from Beginner to Experienced”. Everyone was enthusiastic and eager to learn.
We shared ideas and skills, which motivated all of us. It was an enjoyable and rewarding afternoon playing guitar and singing songs.
Each participant was given a selection of guitar accessories, including picks, strings, and straps. Refreshments were served, lots of stories were shared, and as the afternoon came to an end, I believe the goal of this guitar event was achieved in connecting friends and neighbours through music and stories.
Participant Comments:
As an Indigenous person with a disability, I wanted to tell you how grateful I am for the opportunity to attend the August 9th event. You did an excellent job of explaining and demonstrating guitar techniques, maintenance, changing strings, training, etc. I am hoping another gathering with Guitar Lessons in the winter months will take place.

Had a great time at your workshop. Enjoyed your laid-back approach to learning new tunes. My guitar sounds much better, and it is easier to play since you showed me how to use open chords. When is the next lesson? Thanks!
