It’s a Disaster! would like to invite the Mount Pleasant community to a free BBQ. Come and get to know your neighbours on a more personal level to help cope with a disaster, if one should arise. When people know each other in a day to day setting they’re better able to work together during an emergency. A 72 hour grab and go kit will be on display so you can ask questions. Did you know, every person in your family should have their own customized 72 hour kit in their home, car and even at work. Spend five minutes talking about preparedness now so you don’t have to later, if you were to need one.
