Our event went off without a hitch, although the weatherman was not our friend. We had approximately 75 – 80 people attend our event, we sang, we danced we swayed with the music!
We had Steve Elliott(Elvis tribute singer) do a parking lot show and invited all our neighbouring buildings to join us for this free event. We also had a food truck, the Fuzzy Pickle, in attendance to satisfy all those who wanted to nosh or drink during our event.
We are a neighbourhood of mainly senior residences, but do have a few younger folk around, what our pictures do not convey is that people in the surrounding buildings were on their patios and at their windows enjoying the music too.
