Learning Literacy and Culture through Board Games sessions brought together 18 participants aged 3 to 18 for a fun and educational experience. The event used traditional board games as a tool to enhance literacy, critical thinking, and cross-cultural understanding, creating a welcoming space where families could learn and connect through play.
Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in games inspired by different cultural traditions, sparking conversations about history, language, and storytelling. The event fostered meaningful social interactions, with attendees forming new friendships while playing together. Many parents shared that the sessions provided a unique and engaging way to strengthen family bonds while promoting learning in an enjoyable setting.
One of the most memorable moments was the laughter and excitement as players strategized, problem-solved, and celebrated victories together.
