We are neighbours encouraging neighbours to do art as a hobby.
We are creating a travelling art show to rove along Main Street, visiting retailers and non-profit spaces for short periods of time.
We offer short introductory workshops to encourage people to take up art as a hobby.
Our LocalArt/SmallArt show starts at Multi-Fest on Tupper Greenway June 8, and hits Main Street on Car-Free Day June 17, 2018. Then we’ll visit locations on Main Street until the end of 2018.
We invite you to join us to:
-Connect with your neighbours
-Share your skills and knowledge
-Increase your sense of belonging
-Respect and celebrate diversity
See your work displayed, get feedback from neighbours, and connect with the other artists.
Our website is LocalArtSmallArt.org
We are part of the Small Format Art Movement and the Artist Trading Card Cooperative Community, gathering on the unceded traditional territory of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations.
