The annual Mac Park Block Party was a success again this year! The kids enjoyed the bike obstacle course and the adults enjoyed the “ride a kid’s bike” race. Everyone’s bike looked festive after a stop at the bike decorating station. There was some amazing food shared during the pot luck lunch along with the delicious Indian food purchased with part of the grant money. Volunteers from Sunset CC organized a game of soccer, and later, street hockey. Neighbourhood teens volunteered to do face painting and they did a wonderful job! Two families that had just moved that month attended….what a great introduction to the neighbourhood! We had approx 100 people attend of all age groups and backgrounds. The “Bike Rodeo” theme was a big hit! Thank you NSG!
