Our BBQ was incredibly successful last month. We had a huge turn our compared to years past and residence are still discussing it today. We were able to connect many different community members with people of similar interests and/or new neighbours. This year we brought out a lot of the younger families which was really great to see since our more senior residence were there as well. Our event has cultivated a more active approach to a few of the council meeting topics since the event and our facebook page has received several new member requests which as helped tremendously. We have seen an increase in neighbours talking about the Village, what’s going on, concerns but also positive things like helping each other with moves, renovations and of course currently the chatter today is all about Girl Guide Cookies and wanting to purchase from our neighbours!
