To facilitate the construction of a neighbourhood map entitled Marpole GreenWalk, we interviewed a handful of local residents during Marpole Community Day – amid sunshine and laughter. Our intent is to create a graphic tool for understanding a neighbourhood from the grassroots level, so that information on the map is based on the memories, observations, insights and experiences shared by local residents, rather than disseminated from top down. The interviews were tremendously fruitful. We have shared a few photos here. More to come with regards to the progress of our map.
