On July 12 we hosted a pig roast. It went very well and the pig turned out beautiful. We got lucky and the sun was shining too. Approximately 40 people attended of all ages. It was a potlatch, and there was so much delicious salads and desserts to accompany the pig. Some games were played, there was music, and lots of frog catching by the kids. It was so nice to have friends, family, and neighbors gather together like this in a family oriented gathering. There was general consensus that it turn into an annual event.
