We extend our sincere appreciation to Neighborhood Small Grants and Nanaimo Community Foundation for the generous financial support. Through the funding provided, we were able to successfully host a year-end dinner event for the residents of the 10, 11, and 15 Buttertubs senior independent living complex.
The grant funding enabled us to provide a ham and turkey dinner with lots of side dishes and desserts, creating a warm and festive meal that was enjoyed by all who attended. In addition, several raffle prizes were offered, adding to the sense of celebration and enjoyment throughout the evening.
The event provided an important opportunity for residents to come together and celebrate the close of the year. Many residents expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to socialize, share conversation, and celebrate with neighbours and friends.
This gathering served as a meaningful way to conclude 2025.
