Thanks so much for being the bridge that makes small neighborhood events happen!May 29 from 5-8 pm about 70 people dropped in/out of our 3 hour virtual concert spun by youth DJ Bruce. The online scenery was beautiful to watch of places in Canada with accent on BC. The songs were older from 1930’s to 60’s & folks were singing along & some even danced at home. I chair danced most of the show! The 2nd half was disco music & that added a whole new vibe & new energy to event. We had 5 free door prizes & 5 winners who were delighted to win something. I was looking to support older individuals & then younger ones by having 2 kinds of music through the show. Adapting through these Covid times makes for interesting new events!People reported as having a great time together during event. The chat room was full of laughter & happy comments.
