Applications are open from March 7 – August 30, 2024, in Central Vancouver.*
Projects must be completed by November 30, 2024.
*As long as funds are still available.
Please note that this year, Central Vancouver will not be offering a second round of grants in the fall, so make sure to apply in the spring.
The Central Vancouver Neighbourhood Grants Committee reviews applications approximately every 3-4 weeks.
The Central Vancouver boundaries are: from False Creek south to 41st Ave; from Granville St. east to Knight St. Note, if you apply in Central Vancouver, you must live in Central Vancouver and your project must take place in Central Vancouver. Susan was a project leader for many years before stepping into the Coordinator role. She loves cycling on Vancouver’s bike paths and sea walls; and discovering the parks and beaches that make Vancouver such a wonderful place to live.

Program partner
Your neighbourhood partner
Local partner organizations manage all aspects of the Neighbourhood Small Grants program. Partner organizations are where your community coordinators work. They also oversee the Neighbourhood Grants Committee, which is unique to each community that reviews your grant applications.
Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House
800 EAST BROADWAY AVENUE, VANCOUVER, BC
Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House has been a cornerstone for services and community development since 1976. Today, it offers a wide range of programs and services for more than 3,000 people annually. Staff work with a wide range of funders, community partners and a strong volunteer base to offer community-oriented events and activities that meet the needs of the neighbourhood’s forever-changing population.
Little Mountain Neighbourhood House
3981 MAIN ST., VANCOUVER, BC
Little Mountain Neighbourhood House opened its doors in 1978 and established itself as an organization that is responsive to issues experienced by residents of the Little Mountain neighbourhood. They provide needed educational, cultural, recreational and social services for different age groups, ethnicities, families and the wider community of Little Mountain/Riley Park. Through participating in the programs, residents are contributing to the development of a healthier community.
