The Neighbourhood Small Grants Learning Day is a one-day community event that brings together Project Leaders (grantees), the Neighbourhood Grant Committee members that review applications, and program coordinators from the 26 communities in which the Neighbourhood Small Grants (NSG) program is available.
Our time together on included a full day of inspiring presentations, skill-building workshops, project presentations, and formal and informal networking conversations The NSG Learning Day also gave us time to reflect on the last 20 years of the program while envisioning possibilities for the future. Project leaders learned tips and tricks for using social media for their community-building work, and how to plan events sustainably.
