We had about 12 people on a stormy afternoon. We learned about nutrition as per the Canadian Diabetes Association and we introduced the most common Ancient Grains and its numerous nutritional properties. Then we worked on 3 cooking stations where attendants prepared some of the recipes from the Recipes Book they took home.
At the end we shared all the dishes, had dinner and
social time. Participants took leftover home to share with their families and the idea was to introduce them the dishes they prepared. We have fun, games and raffles.
