There were over 50 community members who came out to enjoy the fire, food and visiting.
We collaborated with the SCRA-Heritage Hall, Sayward Garden Club and Sayward Literacy Now. Also locally businesses and members donated to the event.
We had a flow of people from 11 to 2. Lots stayed and were still visiting right up to 2 pm so stayed and helped put all away. I had two young kids/teens help me set up and take down. So I made sure they were rewarded for their volunteering. Nice to see young people come out and volunteer!
