We had 65 participants enjoying an afternoon of fun, food, games and prizes. The youngest one was 18 months and the oldest 96 years old.
The Fire Department showed up with one of their trucks, showing the young and old the inners and outers of a modern Fire Engine!
Hamburgers and hot dogs came off the grill and were enjoyed by everybody. We had a fantastic potluck variety of food.
The weather was nothing but blue sky and hot sunshine, but luckily we had a shaded backyard!
Thanks to the generosity of local merchants, we had some leftover money and were able to present a Pizza Evening in the local Church Basement in October and feed another 35 hungry people!
A big Thank You from all the Blockwatch members and myself, Ursi Graf, Blockwatch Captain, for the grant money.
