On July 12, about 20 Vancouverites gathered at Arbutus Manor for en evening of film, food and thoughtful discussion.  We enjoyed getting to know one another over cocktails and appies in the garden, then watched the award winning film “With My Own Two Wheels”, a Pedal Born Picture in our private theatre room!
After the film, we talked about the difference cycling and other alternative modes of transportation can make on our well-being and the well-being of our city, our communities and our planet.  A short clip from the Vancouver-based film “You Never Bike Alone” was also a highlight.  We plan to host a second event in September and would love to have others join us!

Neighbourhood Small Grants
