It was a day of good food, community, fun and healing! We started off the event with a Mayan and First Nation blessing. Then we had a full outdoor facilitated drum circle. After that, we had an indigenous Filipino dance and art workshop followed by mandala painting.
We had 50 people attend the event. It was great to see people participating and engaging with music, dance, art and each other.
