James Wood’s “Music Recordings” project came to life in the last few months with the help of a Neighbourhood Small Grant (NSG). Participants in the recording were young people who struggled with life for one reason or another.

The NSG grant allowed James to rent the equipment required for the recording process and to make the process accessible for the musicians and their unique abilities. James hopes to re-run this project and has already been in contact with some up-and-coming student bands to help them write their own music and get into the recording studio.
