With my Responsive Neighbourhood Small Grant, I wanted to do something fun for my neighbours, hopefully to take their mind off the pandemic and spend some time with their bubble doing something different.
The Trout Creek Virtual Scavenger Hunt event went for 5 days. Each morning before 9am riddles and tasks were posted to the neighbourhood Facebook and Instagram pages and teams were to provide answers with the task picture before 9pm.
A favourite task was for them to decode the movie emogis. Teams had to figure out each one then pick one to have their team act out and get a picture of.
Another task was for their teams to spell a summer word with their teams bodies. A family of 3 won the prizes, all from Trout Creek businesses.
There was so much creativity, everyone had lots of fun!
