We had a sweet square dance at Dude Chilling Park on August 26th, a perfect, sunny Sunday. The amazing Paul Silveria was our caller, accompanied by a band of lovely local musicians. Paul lead us through the dances, beginning with very easy ones. There was a great turnout, over 40 participants in total, many of whom were children. Square dance is a beautiful way to connect with all ages! We also had delicious food, including homemade hummus with tortilla chips, chickpea curry with brown rice, and kale-cabbage-carrot salad. All participants had fun and hope to do it again next summer!

We believe the best people to effect change in a community are the ones within it. And when we can make money less of an issue in doing so, it allows so many more kinds of ideas to shine.
