This community event is on July 12, 2015 between 4:30 and 6:30pm at the New Brighton Park picnic site. It will be a relaxed and fun event for families of children who will be starting Kindergarten in September 2015 at Hastings Elementary School. This is a chance for children to start to become familiar with some of the new faces they will be attending school with and for the parents and caregivers to meet each other. There will be some pizza provided and some games organized. Elementary school is 8 years long and there are many children and families unknown to each other at present who will be a part of our child’s and our lives for years to come. Let’s begin developing this community of people before the busy school year begins!
