The local pickleball group has filled up their two nets and is expecting more players when summer people come. I checked with them as to what they wanted, and they gave me the specs for a net and paddles. These were ordered, and then we planned a day at the school to teach all students over 12 years old. Great enthusiasm from the group!
We also hosted an evening where we invited adults but had only one new person attend. All newbies were told the net and paddles would be stored in the equipment room at the rec center, and the staff would help them set up anytime they wanted to play.
