Poetry on the Hill: “The Mother’s Day Show 2026”

The day of May 7, 2026, was slightly overcast, but mostly sunny. There were 22 people in attendance. There was the Guest Table, the Storybook Game, the Prize Table, and the Treat Table. Top 40 music was playing before the Show. The doors opened at 5:45 pm, and the Show went from 6-7 pm. The Show included some jokes, an interactive poem, a free draw, and lots of great, new, original Mom’s Day Poetry. The poems were interesting, with an opportunity to get to know a little about each Poet. There were some emotions displayed, but it was an intimate setting, so the audience could relate. After the Show, there was a small mingle with the audience and the Poets having treats and juice.
