We meet in New Westminster weekly. We watch the positive parenting solutions videos and support each other as parents. We are currently trying to secure a larger space in the fall so more families can meet at the same time, have childcare on site so parents can actually watch the video, and to have a larger space where kids can run wild and parents can really watch the videos. We are now looking for a free place to meet. We have been meeting at parks and out small homes which has proved to be a challenge. We have broken the isolation many of the moms have felt to an extreme. Community is possible all because of this grant and we are forever grateful for the beginnings of our local community!
