The weather was perfect! We had over 100 people and lots of pets participate in the parade along our streets in Downtown Sechelt showing their pride colours! We had hip hop dancers and music as people paraded down the street, through the mall and into several businesses who hosted them. The parade route ended at an eatery in downtown where there was a pride performance by Davis Gay, hip hop dancers from our local dance school Coast Dance Academy, and a DJ Jared. There was a BBQ for everyone to enjoy local eats. This was a fun, safe, inclusive and joyous day for everyone who participated.
