Project Holiday Cheer complete!
This project was inspired through the Good Samaritan Christmas Shoe boxes that’s collected and shipped to less privileged societies. With this as an inspiration of the project 15 baskets of gifts and holiday treats were dropped off to families with young children over the month of December in the Hastings-Sunrise community.
The response to the project was overwhelming with many nominations coming through family, friends, and neighbours. It was so great to see how the project help bring some cheer over the holiday.
This project was made possible with the grant and many friends that helped contribute and help put the baskets and for the individuals who nominated their friends/family. Also, thanks to those who were able to help with drop off. This truly was a community project.
