We used our grant money to host a virtual performance opportunity for queer artists. With the money, we were able to buy a zoom and mentimeter subscription, which allowed us to discuss our questions and ideas about what the future for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community will look like. Through this opportunity, we learned how to optimize the use of these programs to ensure that we can continue hosting events like this in the future. With the remaining money, we hired a local queer artist to create a logo for our next project, Coastal Queers, which is a community initiative to bring local queer people together.
