Our Music in the Park event was a wonderful success. On Sept 11th, we were thrilled to welcome approximately 85 community members, which is an excellent turnout for Sayward. The event brought together families, seniors, and youth, creating a strong sense of connection and community spirit.
Attendees were treated to ice cream bars and sodas, which added to the fun, relaxed atmosphere of the evening. The highlight for many was the live music, children especially enjoyed dancing, and it was heartwarming to see people of all ages gathered together, enjoying themselves.
The positive feedback we received was overwhelming. Many participants expressed gratitude for having an accessible, family-friendly activity right here in our community.
Because of this success, we are already planning to host a similar gathering around Christmas, with seasonal music and activities to bring people together during the holidays.
We are grateful for the opportunity to organize activities that directly benefit our community and look forward to continuing this work.
