This year’s neighbourhood gathering was dubbed the “slice and share”. With miraculously organized planning, we were able to coordinate 32 people’s schedules to bring together nine households in our neighbourhood for a potluck-style gathering.
The grant was used to purchase pizza, drinks, and bubbles for an incredible front yard gathering of food, foam/bubbles on the trampoline for the kids, and fun for all. Neighbours brought a salad or dessert to share, and we gathered to share, laugh, and connect over food and fun. A fun, easy, and impactful evening of neighbourhood connections for our community.
