Neighbourhood Small Grants is excited to announce the launch of Community Animation Grants in partnership with UTown@UBC and the Musqueam Indian Band.
The Community Animation Grant program awards up to $1,000 for projects that help build community and strengthen connections right where people live, work and learn.
UBC’s Point Grey Campus is located on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the Musqueam people. The land it is situated on has always been a place of learning for the Musqueam people. This new grant collaboration represents the long history of partnership between the Musqueam Indian Band and UBC and the potential of our communities to share experiences, strengthen connections, and learn together.
Through our Neighbourhood Small Grants program, Vancouver Foundation is excited to support Community Animation Grants at UBC. Our partnerships with community organizations, municipalities, and now across campus, help us learn about building and strengthening community relationships.
