Some neighbours got together and planned a gourmet hot dog and Potluck gathering. A few people said that they have lived in this complex and had never got together with anyone before, they were so pleased to get to know some of the neighbours.
We had a board that asked what people liked about the neighbourhood, and Get to Know you dice game.
Hot dogs, condiments, drinks and snacks were provided and neighboughs contributed other treats too.
Neighbours learned each other’s names and a bit about each person. I have found that people are saying Hello to each other more often now.
There are plans for another get-together soon.
