Our community building coop BBQ was a great success thanks to the generous grant from NSG Richmond.
We decided to hold our bbq Sept 9th right after school and work and we were quite blown away by the turn out.
We are a 61 unit cooperative and most families decline such invites but not this one!! We had close to 70 people turn out and the potluck was a great success.
We found the oldtimers and new families to our area turned out and ate hamburgers and cake together. Ideas were discussed about how as a community we can make our neighbourhood safer it was great!!
The evening ended with a pinata and the many many children had a blast. thanks again for making this happen.
