It was a day filled with laughter, good foods and gratitude for each other’s presence. It was cold, but everyone was laughing and warmly chatting. ‘Twas a simple, cozy kind of get-together filled with life’s updates and easy conversations after a busy summer. The goal of Neighbourhood Small Grants thru Whistler Community Foundation was achieved, and for this, I am the happiest. It is the reason why I planned this in the first place – to connect neighbours that forms friendship and makes our communities safer and more vibrant. The support of Barangay Sea to Sky Filipino Community, McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Whistler Multicultural Society and everyone who brought delicious dishes added so much energy and joy to the occasion. Grateful for this opportunity awarded to me by Neighbourhood Small Grants thru Whistler Community Foundation.
