The Burrow is a very small community homestead run by my wife and I here in Cumberland BC. We have been offering a Garden focused “Free Shelf” or market stand for a few years now, and it’s be amazing, we applied for the community grant to expand our giving ability with a separate covered seed library located at the front of our home. We just recently built the stand and were able to fill it with loads of seeds that we had collected and purchased throughout the years. We were also able to buy a load of new seeds and varieties for next years growing season to be able to keep sharing with our community.
Thank you so much for the grant – our seed library has been very well received and will certainly be put to great use.
