“Ooh I feel so good, just like I knew I would, ooh I feel so good!” clap-clap clap-clap
And with that chant we ended a Fabulous CircusYoga playshop with participants ranging in age from 9 to 72! We had so much fun doing a variety of activities: juggling, balancing peacock feather, pushsticks, silly group yoga, theatre games, creating a Gratitude Wall and more! So many thanks to: Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society, Community Foundation of the South Okanagan Similkameen, Neighbourhood Small Grants Network for awarding CircusYoga Kelowna the funds to offer this silly and heartfelt Playshop, to FreshCo. for providing healthy snacks, lululemon Kelowna for mats, The Old Cowboy Ranch for peacock feathers, Rotary Centre for the Arts for an excellent space for our shenanigans and great technical support, Anna Jacyszyn for including us in her column in the Daily Courier, and a huge thank you to all of the participants who were brave and put on their silly pants to try some new things and brought donations for Central Okanagan Community Food Bank. We love Community! NowMustPlay!
