This has been an idea in my head for a couple years now, and thanks to the grant from NSG, I have been able to make the idea come to life! I re-purposed my Dad’s old router cabinet, purchased supplies locally & used items from my own stash. I bought some of the goodies I used to stock the kiosk with at thrift stores and I donated some myself. I want to thank my husband Anthony for all his help putting the kiosk together, my parents Brenda & Tony for their support, andthe first few visitors who came to check the kiosk out & brought items to donate.
I hope that people in my community will utilize the kiosk and that it’s contents will spark creativity and help keep their minds active!
