Thank you so much for the grant. The toddler beach day was a success. It was held on Friday Aug 5th at crescent beach. We had 18 children signed up, of which 14 babies and toddlers ended up attending. Parents and grandparents also attended for a total of 26 people.
I was able to host this great day without having to ask people to pitch in and they were just able to enjoy the beach and spend time with friends and family and meet some newcomers. The weather was perfect and it was a very popular day at the beach but we had plenty of room once we found parking. We had a large selection of food (including a bbq lunch) and drinks and games and toys for the kids to play.
Thank you again and I hope to be able to host another event again soon.
