Hi Everyone!
Our project was to bring colour and vibrancy to Windsor Street through delivering tulip bulbs to homes on Windsor Street and creating connections as we went. While we won’t see the bloom of the project until next spring when the bulbs come up, we’ve had a fantastic time so far meeting neighbours. The response has been fantastic, with 92 families to date receiving 14 tulips each, we have only 8 more bags to go! One neighbour even built a flower bed the width of their lot to plant the tulips and extra flowers they’ll purchase. They thanked us for the inspiration needed to get their yard in gear.
Attached are a few photos from us prepping the 1,400 tulip bulbs for delivery. The kids have enjoyed the project and have learned a lot about speaking to neighbours and making a difference in the community.
