We are fortunate to have a community room in the school with a kitchen. We have a small group of parent doing the initial planning. Utilizing existing materials, such as some of the decorations, table clothes, cups, and cutleries.
The grant money was spent on food, drinks, and gift for Ms. Beavil. What was not covered by the grant was donated by parents.
We started the party at 2pm, allowing some time for parents to interact. Students from our school and nearby school (armstrong & Cariboo) show up just before 3pm.
Thank you again for the grant, allowing us to give Ms. Beavil a proper send off.
