I launched the project on my Instagram and I had so much interest that I decided to do two classes that could accommodate 10 people each. I wanted to give back to the community so that was a perfect opportunity to do so. The first group was a mixed between kids and adults and the second class was an adult only class. The project consisted of making a tumbler (and they also had the chance to do a couple Christmas ornaments on the side) with a slab of clay and then decorate it. I walk them through the basic steps behind making pottery and then just allowed them to create while having a chat and sharing their ideas. It was a very interactive workshop people we re so happy and excited to learn the process and get their hand at work! I fired and glaze all of their wares and they had the chance to pick it up last week and the feedback was amazing !
