We held an all day event at our historic community hall. We celebrated that our community of Spences Bridge was named 160 years ago. There was live music throughout the day as we hired 5 different local musical acts. There was a dramatic reading of a biography of an historic settler as well.
We had the BBQ going offering burgers and hotdogs all day, and several volunteers provided lots of salads and desserts.
There was a variety of vendors with arts, crafts, tea leaf readings, and massages!
Attendees came from the surrounding communities as well as our community.
It was a very successful day bringing the community together.
