The project went amazingly well!
We planned things by coming up with a list of possible activities to participate in & then having the group vote on which activities were of most interest to them. We selected outdoor locations in & around our neighbourhood in Hope that were most conducive to the activity type planned. We try to vary locations. We figured out numbers for attendance and acquired all required materials & supplies for the activities. There were no challenges that came up at all. We were able to network within the community with our local community garden to donate some seeds for planting home gardens for those who wanted to participate. This project brought together so many young local families and reinforced the importance of gathering together & establishing bonds and fostering sense of belonging & stewardship in our youth!
